A one day seminar with Rachel Roberts

Saturday 7 June 2008

About the speaker

Rachel has been lecturing in both Homeopathy and Medical Sciences at various colleges in the U.K. and overseas for several years. Although she is in general practice she has a special interest in treating physical pathology. In 2005 she was a speaker at the Society of Homeopath’s Annual Conference, giving a presentation entitled ‘Beyond the Smear Campaign’ looking at conventional and alternative treatments for women who have had ‘positive’ smear tests.

About the seminar

The morning will be spent exploring the liver's wide-reaching role in health and disease. We will look at how to spot signs and symptoms which indicate liver malfunction in a case, as well as the treatment of specific liver disorders such as gallstones, hepatitis, cirrhosis and liver cancer.
During the afternoon we shall be focusing on a range of pathologies such as differential diagnosis of heartburn, achlasia, pylorospasm, pyloric stenosis, coeliacs disease, lactose intolerance & inflammatory bowel disease. Aspects of pathology will be integrated with discussion of both allopathic and homeopathic approaches to treatment, in order to improve clinical management of such cases. Case examples and therapeutic tips will be included throughout.
